Bees on Original Route

    My first time climbing the original route was in ‘78. Six of us, two party's of three. The first was Bob Rotert, Tim/Tom McMillan, and Bill Hodley.

Then me , Bill Mulvey, and Kenny Hibbits. When the three of us were half way up, all on a ledge together, a huge swarm of bee's flew by right in front of us. We were all a little freaked out. It was a perfect day, and we all had a great time.
